In it’s simplest terms a drop card
is a small classified ad on a business
card.
I originally came up with the idea in
the early 1980’s when I was building
my first network marketing team.
Every time we enrolled a new team
member we would help them launch
their business with our referral

STEP 1
We would also hand them a rubber band
with 100 business cards that had printed
on them.

I would assign each new team member a
code, and explain for them to have their own
printed with the code I assigned.
We then asked them to leave a few on the
counter when they pick up dry cleaning, their
take out food, etc.
STEP 3
I had a voice mail system set up with a
local provider.
When people called the number they would
here a simple recorded message that said:
Thank you for responding to our local
advertising campaign, at the sound of
tone please leave us your name, number,
and the code on your add & one of our
representatives will contact you within
24 hours.
STEP 4
We would follow up and set up a one-on-one
presentation with the person that had called
after reading the drop card.
DROP CARD MARKETING TODAY
This type of drop card marketing is now being used
by virtually every type of business all over the
United States.
It is sincerely that simple. A classified ad printed
on a business card. It is hard to say how many
sales and prospects have been created over the
years with this drop card lead generation method.
